Wilbert Jones was born in Syracuse, New York in 1964. Wil was born with a powerful will to make things happen, despite the fact he was born without full use of his legs. "Wil hustles as hard as any man I know and accomplishes more than most." says Ray Mapp, author of the Black Miracles Book-On-A-PosterTM.

While attending Henninger High School in Syracuse, NY, Wil competed on the varsity gymnastics team as a ringmaster on the still rings and mastered the parallel bars. Wil was the first high school gymnast in central New York to master the difficult maltese cross position on the still rings, contributing to many team victories. At the age of 16 his family moved to Statesville, NC where Wil joined the high school wrestling team as well as managed the football team.

Wil graduated from Statesville High School in 1983 and went on to college at St. Augustine College in NC. While there he earned a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication in 1987 and later he attended Michigan State University where he earned a masters degree in telecommunications in 1990. During his undergraduate studies, he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha.

Wil Jones started his own business in 1997 called Wil Cares Enterprises that markets positive, inspirational, educational products including the Black Miracles Book-On-A-PosterTM as well as all other products offered by Purpose Publishing. Wil has been an Independent Distributor for Purpose Publishing products for nearly four years. During this four years, Wil has sold more than 1000 Black Miracles Posters.

Wil has self-published two books over the years ... one is "Afro-isms" (a collection of quips & quotes frequently used in the African American dialect) and the other is "When Kinfolk Come Together" (Genealogical study of the Gamble & Ramsey Families of Iredell County, NC).

Wil has traveled to several continents around the world since graduating from college and spent time in several countries in Africa. He now resides in Charlotte, NC.

Wil received US patent # 443132 in 2001 for his invention for a revolutionary underarm cushion attachment for crutches to allow more comfort and prolonged use.  He is in the process of locating a manufacturer and developing it's marketing plans.
